Why do we need money why not rocks? Money is so precious to people...why not have something that's all around us? It will help more.

If we used rocks as money it would just end up being the same thing. but because the government controls the amount of money that circulates in the country our whole economy would fail because there are so many rocks and you don't have to work to get them. So eventually the rocks would become worthless and then people would end up trading like a long time ago. then the government would not get any money from this and our country would end up ruined. Or if this didn't happen then it would be like 10,000 rocks is the same as $1 and that would be a lot to carry around with you. Also if the supply of rocks ran out or somehow people controled how many were circulated they would be very very easy to conterfeit.

Who said we use money? These days people don't work for money in Bush regime. They work for peanuts! And it won't be long before Peanuts got replaced by rocks, since you can't extract oil from rocks...oh wait...Cheney doesn't agree with that...he says you can find oil under the rocks... so, air might replace rocks.

WE HAVE MONEY BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE CAN'T GROW OR HUNT THEIR OWN FOOD SO YOU NEED MONEY AND GO TO WORK AND BECOME PROFESSIONAL... WHO ELSE WOULD OPERATE YOU FOR FREE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY. I THINK YOU CAN USE ROCK IF IT IS DIAMOND RUBIES OR ANY PRECIOUS ROCK...ORDINARY ROCKS IS FOR BUILDING MATERIAL...SO OWN A BUSINESS FULL
OF ROCKS A GRAVEL PIT THEN YOU CAN MAKE MONEY MADE OF PAPERS AND METALS.

do you know where paper money came from? it was invented as a clever way to pay for war. it is just a promise to pay the amount on the bit of paper. if we used rocks then some bright spark would say, i'll give you this bit of paper that promises you three of my rocks for that chicken over there, then we are right where we are now.

Because if you move too many rocks, ther would be too many idiots crawling out from under them.
Because there are a lot of people out there that are dumber than a box of rocks.
