Crunches on the ball, reverse crunches, and bicycle crunches are some of my favorite stomach exercises. But stomach exercises only help a little. If you want a really flat stomach you need to eat a healthy diet. The website below has tons of stomach exercises and diet tips. It's a good resource.

Depending on your age, this is what I did to start my stomach.
Plan a week out. Start the week with 200 crunches/sit ups. Then the the rest of the week do 100. On the last day of the week do another 200. The other key to this to have a good cardio exercise planned to go along with it. When you run your body will burn the fat in your legs first, when that is gone, then the body starts pulling fat from other parts of your body for energy(ie. the stomach). If you want to focus on the lower part, do reverse sit-ups. Lifting your legs instead of your torso. Hope that helps.

Go to your nearest CVS or Wal-mart and check out the workout section, there you will find a lil wheel with handles on both sides for about $10. When ready to use get into a some what of a doggy position with the handles of the wheel in each hand and let the wheel role slowly in front of you while flexing you abdomen muscles. Do about 5 reps of 5 every day. *****That's my lil trick to a lil six pack!!*****

The best toning exercise is called the dead bug...you lay flat on your back with your arms stretched over your head and your legs out straight. You then lift both up at the same time and lower them slowly. During both the lift and release make sure to pull your belly button to the floor and keep your neck and back in line.

Crunches, Sit ups.. Maybe 15 a day. Im doing it and i already see some flattening, almost to a tone. Also do sit ups where you bring up your right elbow to touch your left leg, left elbow to right leg... Those work.

Look at this article in Good Housekeeping - A Flat Belly Fast. Hope it helps. Also, I have had really great success with Pilates, and I have had three babies, so it was an uphill battle for me. There are several DVD's out now by different people.

I might be a little bit of bloat. Try cutting down on salty foods, sodas, coffee and anything that upsets your stomach and might cause you to bloat (like dairy or red meat).
If you could at least cut out the soda and coffee I think you will notice a difference.
