Some people are just like that, they have to see what everyone else is 'up to'. They have no idea of privacy and I'm not even sure if they realise that they're being rude.
There is little you can do, because you can't control other peoples behaviour. It also depends what they're doing? If they're net curtain twitchers, ignore it and just carry on with your life.
If they keep coming over to see what you are doing, don't let them in. Remember you don't have to answer the door. If next time they say "Why didn't you answer the door" you laugh and say "Can't I go to the loo then?"
If they are constantly asking questions just don't give them a proper answer. Remind yourself that you are not being rude. You don't have to tell them anything you don't want to.
Try to remember that people who are like this basically don't have any freinds or a social life. They don't know how to get along with other people. If your life look so much more interesting to them than their own, thats a bit sad.

Just keep to your own business and don't give them what they want. During any conversations, when they ask about your business, change the subject. If the persist, tell them you don't want to talk about it. If the continue to push then leave if you are on their property, or tell them to leave if they are on yours. You have the right to say that it's none of their business.
