Johnny Depp is a better actor but Orlando Bloom is much cuter. Johnny has been in a ton of movies and has a big range while Orlando primarily sticks with romances with action attatched.

Johnny Depp definitely. He's a brilliant actor and he can play all different types of characters. Orlando Bloom is really just starting out and he's really pretty but not the best actor.

It has to be Johnny Depp. He is just so funny in the movie! But I still have to give Orlando Bloom credit has he is very good in there too.

Well...as I can see. YOu are a pirate yourself. Hmmmm. If I were a pirate. OMG...I would do them both. lol I've always liked Johnny Depp but Oh my, those eyes of Orlando Bloom. Anyways....back to your question..... Better actor...Johnny Depp. I've seen documentaries on him and he's wonderful.

Johnny Depp. I think he has more range when it comes to characterization with roles.
Bloom, I'm sad to say, is merely a period/type-cast kind of actor. I have yet to view evidence to the contrary (LOL!) for Bloom. However, for the roles he HAS been type-casted for, he has done well. He embodies the likeness and charm of Errol Flynn, I just think that if he does plan to follow in the footsteps of Depp (as he has commented Depp being his role model), Bloom has to stray away from these kinds of roles. I'm looking forward to seeing him in "Haven."
