my friend's husband placed the engagement ring in a furtune cookie and when they went out to eat at her fav asian place... the waitress came out with a plate with two cookies on it...
She opened it and saw the engagement ring and read her futune- Jo-Jo will you marry me

Say something romantic like call the local radio station and have her listen
Or
so do it during forth of july on the grand finale get your knee on the ground no matter where you are and take her hand and ask her when all the fire crackers are in the sky
Or
put the ring in a fortune cookie. If you don't make your own fortune cookie just put some water on one and put it in the microwave long enough to make it pliable while it's warm, then reseal with water and let cool.
Or
During dinner at your favorite restaurant, arrange with the waiter to have the diamond in a box as one of the choices on the dessert tray. Tell her she is the sweetest thing you know and you can't resist her any longer.
Or
You should have your picture put on a billboard and ask her on the billboard.

Think about her favorite place in the world and take her there. If she likes attention, do it in front of a group of people. If she is shy, just let it be the 2 of ya'll. Most of all, remember that romance is a very big deal with women so make it romantic.

You could "record a song" for her with you singing or proposing. Try the song "happily ever after" by Case. hope it helps.

A balloon ride is awesome. Perhaps a evening flight, just as the sun starts to fade.....very romantic.

haha! stand outside a hallway of your local courhouse when divorce court is goign on and when the people walk out ,then loudly proclaim to her that this is not true love , we have true love this will never be us, please marry me!!!!!!!!!! lol
