Most journalists working on staff or freelance with the large media outlets have lost the talent of reporting the facts. Most have their own agenda. And also, we need to understand some journalist must express the political views of the editorial staff managing the media outlet to survive in the industry. How else can they have their stories printed?

Can you imagine reading a newspaper or watching a news program that actually gave their audience all the facts? Lets face the reality. Journalism has evolved into people’s opinions. Thank God for the Internet. Without the internet sites that report all the facts and allow the reader to form their own opinion, we would all be like, well, the citizens of North Korea, having only one opinion shoved at them all the time.

American journalism lacks credibility. They seem to be more interested in broadcasting sensationalism than news. We need to be kept informed about what is going on in the world beyond our borders.

Journalism was intended to be informative, but it has now become jaded gossip.

Unfortunately, sensationalism sells, and so long as the American public is willing to ignore the world around us, there will be no incentive for the reporters to change things.

American journalism is shameful. Some things that are reported should be met with charges of treason. I am appalled at how these alleged journalists are so eager to put us all at risk in order to report what they perceive is the publics right to know. What I would like to have them report is who are they really working for and why are they so eager to undermine the US.

I think the majority of journalists today are not sceptical enough when it comes to what the corporations and our government is saying. They are also far too interested n "celebrity" journalism, and can't make a compelling story out of the things that are really important.

Very poor, widely biased and not reflecting much that happens outside the USA.

And I am especially appaled by the silence of papers like the "Washington Post" and the "New York Times" with regards to the crimes (domestic and abroad) commited by the Bush family, their supporters and the current administration.

Reporting the news in a factual way is no longer the main thrust. Especially with TV news it is all about ratings. They will only report what they think will get morw people to watch their show.
