is there ant way of writing files to a dvd rather than a cd so i can back up more files .as the cd dos not have enough room if so howw do i do it

Definetely, as long as you have a dvd-writer (best try find a + & - if you don't already have so you don't have to worry about which type of DVD's it takes.) Also, a decent computer is always v.helpful. U may need to adjust your write speed according to the quality of the dvd & u'll need some software which will enable u to write to the (dvd) cd. That should cover u. Try Nero as your software program.-)

I think you can, because my Cisco teacher gave me a DVD with movies for Visual Basic 2004 on it, but you need to write them all at once to the DVD-R, unless you have a DVD-RW, in which you can keep deleting and/or write over the files you've already written...

Sure, just write the files to your DVD burner instead of your CD burner.

Only if you have a DVD writer. A CD writer won't write to a DVD.

If you put a DVD in instead of a CD it'll burn to the DVD! As if by magic...

You have to have a DVD burner, a blank DVD and a program that burns DVDs. If you've got those you're all set, it can burn just like a CD.

Yes use your cd or dvd authoring program, mabey nero and choose dvd rom data disk Voila. You now have 4+ gigs of space to burn to.

Your computer has to have a dvd burner. Depends what kind of computer you are using

use a sandisc, it is a memory stick and it holds the same data a CD does.
