I'll give it to you straight up. I'm an elementary school teacher, so I don't get to dress very sexy at work. I'm constantly worrying about whether I'm showing off my girls when I bend down. I wear tank tops under blouses just be on the safe side and everything. Anyway, when I'm NOT at work, I like to wear tops that are more low-cut simply to feel like a woman. I WANT to look sexy, and when I'm dressing that way, I think I want men to notice (I'm happily married and I don't dress slutty or anything- it just feels nice to be looked at sometimes). The thing is, when I DO notice a guy staring, I get all self-conscious again and feel like an idiot for dressing the way I did in the first place. It's stupid, I know. But my guess is that lots of other women are the same way. We THINK we'll like it when they look, but we end up being just a little creeped out instead.

I have been waiting for a question like this! It never seems to amaze me at why these girls and some women.... walk around angry and upset because there is a man staring at them... a man making rude/shrewd comments to and about then. I will never understand why a woman will go into church with a skirt shorter than a bow tie.... praise the Lord, then call herself a child of God, with her azz and breasts hanging out everywhere.

Word to the wise for the women....... you walk around with your body hanging out.. not having any respect for yourself or your image.. you WILL receive negative feedback and responses. Cover yourself.

Woman where beautiful, had poise, morale and were covered back in the day... true enough we do not live in that time... but shouldn't some of those virtues and respects be taken from generation to generation? There is a difference between classy, sassy... and TRASHY!

Ok first thing is first...would you want women to dress like men...wearing baggy clothes....I think not. Secondly it is all about confidence. If you feel you look good then others will also see you that way it is not about dressing that way for men to stare it is about building confidence for ourselves. The people who have negative things to say are simply jealous. It's not that we want men to stare, well some do, its about showing everyone that you are not afraid to be what and who you want to be. Women dress that way for the same reasons men work out to get some abs. Besides like I said would you find a women attractive if all she wore was baggy jeans and t-shirts?

I believe that in truth, they actually like and enjoy it when you look or stare. It's only logical that, when a woman dresses provocatively, she KNOWS that men are going to stare or at the very least take a double look. They ACT as though they are offended...but I believe that deeply within themselves, they are enjoying the attention that she's getting. But for morals sake, she has to PRETEND that she's offended by the looks and stares. Women are not that ignorant...they know exactly what they are doing...and if they DIDN'T like it, they wouldn't dress so provocatively. It's only logical my friends.

For the record, I do not dress this way, but
Women who dress like 'that' do it for several reasons:
1- the like the attention from men
2- they are in competition with other women
3- they just like to dress like that
4- they do it for their man
either way, its for attention, and sometimes the attention can be good. But mostly, men take it too far. Staring and obscene comments are just rude. Remember ladies, you can be sexy and still keep it all in and there is a thin line between classy and trashy.

You are so right! And I totally agree with you. I think for some women that is exactly why they dress provocatively....so men will stare. If they dress that way and get upset when men stare then they must be bimbos! And yes, I am a woman!

I try not to dress like that ... Sometimes its hard to find something in the store that isnt like that... those kind of clothes are everywhere. So you can stare at that type of girl all day ...but she'll never bring you the happiness you're looking for.

That's exactly why I dress the way I do. To get the attention. I'm just a tease though. I'm married. I like to look hot for my man, and like to make other men wish they could have me. I'm so mean. Stare away. You can look but you just can't touch. lol

First of all, I don't dress that way, so I don't need to worry about this. Second of all, some women love attention-especcially from men. Third of all, staring is just rude and unwelcome in some instances.

Because most slutty girls are evil suckubitches (ie, they suck the life out of you). And most of those girls who dress that way want people to look at them, but they have no inner self or any sense of reality what-so-ever so they don't know what to do when someone stares at them are makes any kind of movement towards them.

But there are three types of girls, with three different styles that I think need to be noted:

The I dont give a Sh!t style:
These girls are your basic goths, big chics who wear the first thing they see in the morning, or the butch chics who wear mens clothes. They care if you stare but arent going to be as annoyed as the next type will.

Then there is the, "look at me" I am a slut style:
You see these ho* bags at the gym, they wear the pants with the words "juicy" and "pink" on it. They usually wear a thong that they let slip out by wearing belly shirts. These are the girls you see on the stupid Girls Gone Wild ads late at midnight on Comedy Central. They usually have a tattoo right above their butt crack. This tattoo is basically a target sign, it means I want to have sex with all the jocks. These are the worst kind, they want people to stare but get pissed off when anyone who slightly less attractive then Tom Cruise stares at them. To show these girls you mean business look at them, stare at them and try to annoy them as much as possible. Oh and these gals are the ones driving those huge GMC SUVs, honk at them, brake short for them, and make sure to give them a taste of your road rage.

The next type is the best there is: The artsy chic who knows how to dress well, be attractive and at the same time not look like shes out for a booty call
These girls usually wear double layer clothing, They may show a little cleavage, but THEY NEVER wear clothes that say words like "juicy" , "pink", These girls are into good music, and love wearing new and unusual clothes. They probably wear bracelets and a couple of earrings. Their nice, and they hate it when even a jock stares at them. You have to go up to them and introduce yourself or else they are likely to ignore you, as they tend to be more shy then normal, but their personality makes up for this.
