Absolutly, for some reason celebs with millions are always asking us slaves for donations for some cause or other. I bet Bono could even live on 500,000 a year. Most poeple I know live with 15,000 a year! and those africans live on less than a dollar a day don't they. so come on Bono move to africa where you could live on the cheap and give all the rest to them poor folk.

Bono has been responsible for billions in debt relief to the poorest of countries, and 100s of millions in donations and support to the impoverished. He dedicates his life, and energy to helping those who are poor and have no voice. I'm sure he has a nice home and nice things, but i doubt he lives in a large mainly empty mansion made of gold and wiping himself with $100 bills. Stop feeling so jealous for those who have, and make yourself use full for a change.
i think even if he only made $10000 a year like me, he would still be doing exactly what he is now. I dont care for his music or looks, but i still respect him.

i agree.....he just wants to be glorified.....just like his guitar player the edge.....i mean.when you call yourself the edge cause you think you're cool.....then you're really a dork w/a dorky name and a lot of money you could give to people. I mean...it is not like you guys (musicians) have a hard job and sweat your (enter anything here) off for a few dollars an hour like most working class people do. All you want to do is whine about the "issues" and do nothing about it. Instead of actually making a donation of your own money...you play a show where the proceeds go to chairty so it really is the working class people who are donating it and all you do is play a 2 or 3 hour show. i guess you call that working for free huh? Well.......instead of doing that.......spend 2 or 3 hours helping unload a truck......of food.....that you bought.

Most people collect money over the course of their life, save and gather it, and give a large portion of it when they die.
It's his money, let him do what ever he wants with it, he earned it.
