first of all, avoid using products formulatted with mineral oil and animal products. These do not get absorbed by the skin and what it does is that it clogs your pores. In fact mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skins health #1 is the sun, it is like rubbing car oil on your skin and exposing yourself to the sun... Animal product come form rendering plants, these plants pick all dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc and what they do is put them in a huge pot and squash everything inside and boil it the oil that comes to the top is what other companies use to formulate their "beauty" products ... gross i know.. eww lipstick and aghhh .. anyway, the important thing to do is read your ingredients and use the right ones regularly .... also bathing daily cleanses the skin, but it also can dry it out, causing it to look dull, but most importantly, it may cause irritation and remove the natural emolients your body produces to keep it healthy. When you bathe, always use a moisture-rich cleanser, and always pamper your skin with a daily moisturizer. I use arbonne products.... https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arb... because they are botanically based and you could really see the difference, i had acne and lots of blemishes and my skin has cleared so much, it really is amazing and they have everything for everybody.... theire deep pore cleansing mask and their scrub is just perfect for eliminating the blackheads. Also their face wash is great because it cleanses without drying and removes all traces of makeup and dirt.... works wonderful for me and the bes thing is that you could shop online, receive it in your house and if ther is something you do not like about the products which is rarely to happen, you return the item and they give your money back .... also check this site from the fox news about toxins in beauty products..... http://easylink.playstream.com/ydc/arbon...

SIGH..... greasy foods have nothing to do with your skin unless you rub it all over your face. It's an old wives tale. A cheap fix for pimples thats virtually free: drink a TON of water. Water flushes impurities and toxins out of the body. And for a pimple fix, apply the juice of a lemon directly to the pimple and let it dry. The acid in the lemon will reduce imflamation and will work as a natural astringent.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Keep your skin clean. Moisturize. When a break up happens moisten a q-tip with rubbing alochol and cleanse the area then dab on a small amount of tooth paste which helps dry the zit out. Wash in a few minutes & repeat in a few hrs.

Drink water, sweat, eat right and use anti- bacterial soap. Believe me, it's the best way to treat, prevent and live better.

I have been in specialty skin care for years. The products I've sold retailed between 500.00 to 1700.00 for one ounce of cream for treatment. I have always used Dial antibacterial soap, in the pump, witch hazel, for a toner and pure coca butter cream. My skin care regime costs $6.00 for all of these products. The cream lasts me 1 year the witch hazel and soap lasts a little over a month. Even if I used 1 jar of cream a month, my total yearly cost would be $72.00!

You must exercise and sweat out all the toxins. Replace it with water and a healthy diet and you'll never have those problems again.

For the ones in existence, put toothpaste on them. It dries off in time, and allows you to squeaze out safely. For long term solution, wash face with soap and water frequently. Drink lots of fluid.

i use proactiv, but if that is too costly for u and u want just a home remedy, i would suggest putting a dab of toothpaste on ur problem areas and let it dry (like a mask) and washing it off ... i did that for years and it took the problem away in a fairly timely fashion :)

This may sound weird, but wash your face at night, put a dab of honey on the blemish and then cover it with a band-aid. Works for me!!!
