If you can remember the alternative email address you gave at the time of starting your account, and your zip code you used, they will send you a new password to your account. You may also need to remember that birthdate you put on your account.
More than likely someone just tried logging into your account, and after so many attempts with the wrong password, yahoo locks your account. Unless someone guessed your password. They also could have guess your birthdate and zip code.
Never EVER use your real birthdate or zip code with yahoo. Actually your zip code can be your best security tool ever. You can add up to an additional 4 more numbers after the zip code 5.
example: 12345 5 digit zip
12345-1234 (USPS +4 zip)
Yahoo doesn't care which 4 numbers you pick. And your zip has to match exactly with what you fill out in your personal information, especially if you use the +4.
I wouldn't use your +4 zip, because someone might know your address, and be able to look up your +4 zip online.
I hope your account is still in tact. Good luck.

orrrr take serious action and track the hacker down. then when u find him/her, stalk 'em! then you follow the person to their house right?, bring a gun up to their head, then you yell,"why you hack mah account, fool?!" then u make him tell you the pw(if he changed it). after he tells you, say "an` you better not do it again! if i catch you, ima track ya down! remember, you can run, but ya cain't hide from me! got it??!!" you gon let him go right? then bust some karate-choppin` moves on his dumb butt!
you gonna go home and get on your computer.
