why do men always try to act cool when they know there not

Because they are actually insecure about themselves so they try to overcompensate. Some actually believe women fall for that "cool" act and usually they do - at least the under-educated ones who are also insecure about themselves.

Cause they are not, and coolness is the the most important thing in life way above individuality and relationships and true happiness
