If Hugo "Hurley" Reyes has been on the ABC show Lost for the past 2 seasons or so AND on an ISLAND with little nutrition!...why hasn't he lost any weight???

Well he found a stash of food and is still eating. The actor that plays Hurley has lost 40 pounds in real life but being so heavy it's hard to tell on him.

i've got not watch misplaced, yet i assume Hugo is a character. he's no longer a real individual, so the character consume fruit and greens on the teach. however the actor eats established whilst he's no longer on the digital camera.

Just as a datapoint, I think the two seasons of Lost so far have actually only spanned 60 or so days in the lives of the people on the island.

Well, it is a show for one. In real life of course he would. But the role isnt calling for him to lose weight. Maybe because they want him to look the same for some other purposes. Or maybe the actor himself does not want to/isnt trying to. Producers may overlook a weight issue if the talent is there.

Because he has a stash of food and anyone who eats ranch dressing alone is not going to lose any weight and on top of this his stash was mostly junk food.

he has had a stash of food he has been keeping. there is an episode with libby when he gets rid of some but keeps the rest. also, he just sits there and doesn't exercise

i saw an interview with jorge garcia (his real name i believe) and he said don't look forward to him losing weight on the show.
