Expect it sooner than later. I would give it a couple of months. I had mine at 13. Trust me, your metabolism slows a bit so you may not want to hear this or not, don't rush it. You'll have it for a LONG time, trust me.

The discharge is normal.
Chocolate is addictive to anyone at anytime.
You can't really determine it by your family because my two older sisters both got their periods when they were 11 and I didn't get mine till I was 13 and a half. I'd say based on what you said within the next few months but it could be up to a year, you never know.
I'm not going to say you don't want it because it is so not bad when you first get it you barely notice anything different about yourself, I am going to say don't wait for it because sometimes it is a bit of a bother and you're only 12 (I could see if you hadn't gotten it at 14 how you might be waiting). Also, it might be irregular at first, like the time between periods during the first year you get it varies. And you might feel kind of horny before or during your period, that's normal, too.
One more thing: PMS is not an excuse to be mean to everyone. PMS is not that bad at first.

I got mine later I was 13 so it could be coming soon. It's just so hard to tell. The discharge and infections are a concern have you went to see an Gynocologists? You may want to it's been 20 years but I don't ever remember having discharge that young. And never had an yeast infection. I would go to a women's doctor/specialist or gyno and have a pap smear done. If your concerned about what your parents may think tell them you just want to be checked talk to them about it. That is your best bet.
But even the best Dr in the world could not tell you when your period will start.

Nobody is going to tell you exactly when you are going to get your period, so I don't think anyone is going to be able to be able to give you the answer that you want accodring to yout p.s. statement. A lot of girls get discharge in their puberty years, but it doesn't mean that they are about to start. Have you been to the doc for these yeast infections? If not, you need to. Most of my friends and I started at about 12 or 13.

When my daughter had all those signs (do you have lots of pimples, too) her pediatrician told us to expect it with the next two or three months - she was right, it happened about 6 weeks later.
Don't forget to celebrate with your mom!

every person is different and there is no way to tell when you will be starting. It sounds like you are in puburty, so it should not be too much longer

Are you sexually active? If you are sexually active, you may want to get a pregnancy test b/c having your period may be least of your troubles. Good luck.

Are you loony? no one wants their period. it's not fun. it's not like going to an amusement park. it can be irritating and embarrassing. stop wishing to grow up because once you do you can't go back.
