Why don't you take that person out to find some similar friends. Depending on the persons age and interests I am sure that you could find places to go and things to do where that person may meet other like minded people. Then you would not have to be the only sounding board for that person.

I am one of those people. I do talk to much because i have alot to say. I f i am not around someone a long time, things happen and i just want to tell it to others. You can listen and might learn something or let it go in one ear and out the other. But i am grateful,I have something to to talk about. Hoping you do to. Pem
