They are a people who are French, but who are not 'White'. One such woman was featured in a Crest WhiteStrips commercial back in 2004/2005. Another woman was in the movie "All About the Benjamins". I have no idea. I'll continue to 'Google' it.

If you're thinking Creole they're American with African, Indian and French ancestry.

I guess you mean the French people who live in the islands like Martinique, Guadeloupe, etc. (thos territories are called DOM-TOM in France, i.e. Deprtamsn and territories in Overseas). Those people are called the "creoles", I think.
