from what i understand, the anal sphincter is not meant to be stretched near as much or as many times as the musculature of the vagina.And, as many women know, after babies, the vagina will start to get larger.The anus has its limits- all things in moderation.

Probably not. But, you definitely increase those risks if you're using something that wasn't made for that purpose, or if you're doing anything "extreme" (ie: fists are pretty big; not a healthy habit).
