Why isn't there contemporary Jewish or Muslim Music?

There is contemporary Jewish music (I don't know about Muslim). Debbie Friedman, Rabbi Joe Black, and Rick Recht are a few popular artists.

because no one would listen to it. and contemporary christian music sucks too.
