There is the star Betelgeuse, it is red and is in the constellation of Orion. There is also ß Centuri, which is blue. And Altair or Canopus, which are white stars. Whether these are the star that you mean?

although I don't know the name of it I have seen a write up about similar phenomenon. The reason it appears to change colour is due to atmospheric effects.

Get a sky-chart ( star chart or whatever it is ) and try and work out its position in relation to an easily identifiable constellation and then contact your nearest observatory / amateur astronomy society

Beetleguise is a orange and white looking star. Sirius is a blue looking star, but I dont know of one that looks all three colors.

red white.....maybe aurora.... But if you mean a star, a red star is a cold star...and a blue star is a hot star
