Can the Bulls do it with Wallace, and is this the end of the Pistons Eastern conference reign?

no,the bulls need more than ben wallace but he is a step in the right direction, but he is a little old at 32,if his body holds up I'm sure they can get to the playoffs with him,the Piston can win without big ben, sure he was a defensive powerhouse, but he couldn't shoot, the rest of the team can make up for losing him and they still have money to spend on another player,he was not worth what he was wanting at 32 years old, chicago payed to much for him.

No, Ben Wallace is not the ultimate answer for the Bulls, They are a good young team and Ben will bring the defense that they have lacked over the years. They will definitely be contenders next season and maybe make it the 2nd round of the playoffs, but no 'ship.

Losing him can hurt the Pistons if they dwell on it, but I say they Make either Sheed Center or McDyess and play a more uptempo style game. And Yes The Pistons reign is about over, Ben Wallace was their heart and soul on defense, but offensively he stunk, he is too old. He actually made Detroit lose, although his teammates would not admit it with his terrible foul shooting. Good investment Bulls! lol, now the Cavs can outright win the East!! HAHAHAHA

really vast win for the Chicago Bulls, undesirable lost for the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons regarded really good accessible without Richard Hamilton, Allen Iverson, and Rasheed Wallace.

yes, the pistons are done with or w/o ben wallace.....the bulls will improve...but they wil only go as high as the second round of the playoffs.... wallace is 32 yrs old and is slowly on the decline...he has only been dominant or semi dominant in a detroit piston atmosphere....he couldnt do it on his previous teams....with the bulls he will look lost on offense and not as effective on defense....altho i am sure he will definitely try and score more...

projected season averages of ben wallace with the bulls....

10.3 points 41% FG 48% FT 9.9 RBS 1.9 BLK 1.1 STL
and the bulls will practically have the same record as last season...(or maybe win 2 more games)

Since the Bulls now have a good set of guards and a supporting center, the answer is heck yes. The Pistons now only have a fast team of guards like Rip Hamilton, so this will either make them adapt or fail.

We'll miss Ben but, he wasn't the only answer in Piston Land. Joe will likely find a more complete replacement for him.
As for the bulls...Ben won't hurt them.

The Pistons championship window has been shut. Not sure if Chicago can do it. We are officially in the Dwayne Wade, LeBron, Dwight Howard era now!!!

are you kidding me? detroit's not gonna feel it. ben wallace didn't do jack for us in the playoffs. his glory days are done. besides that, he's like what 2 and 10 at the line?? bye bye ben

i say NO to both answers. ben wallace is just a one-dimensional player and he's so overrated that the bulls overpaid him because they forgot how poor his offensive skills are. nazr mohamed is a more complete player...
