im doing this cuz my parents think diff my dad says the 80s and my mom says the 70s i like 80s music so i agree w/my dad lol

The 80's!
The 70's were too Disco, but the 80's redefined Rock n' Roll and brought a whole new meaning to the normal way of living.

Even though I was born in '81, I gotta say that the 70's kicked disco a'ss! The 70's produced the best music and the most f*ucked up movies (Midnight Cowboy, Looking for Mr. Goodbar, A Clockwork Orange, Cabaret, The Exorcist). No other era in modern history could ever match the hedonistic, crazy decadence and debauchery that the 70's had.

I liked the 80's better...I suppose mainly because I remember more about them...lol...but things were starting to change for the better then in many different aspect of my life at least....I graduated high school in '85, my gf at the time had a baby in Dec of '86....it was the time in my life where i was beginning to learn what life was really all about and although i was a teenager for most of the 80's it was a time when things were still very 'real' instead of this 'VIRTUAL' world that we live in today.

I like the 80's, the movies were better, teen angst was really taking off and the music really tried to stay stuff whilst still being danceable and could be sung along to, today few songs manage all 3 but it was the fashion of the time. It heralded the freedom and individuality in culture we enjoy now

The 70's rocked. better music, cheaper gas, musle cars and no major worries about STD's.
