I am on my second Motorola V3 RAZR with Cingular (so is my best friend). I think the hardware is good, but the software on these phones have been really buggy. I've had a couple of calls where the phone has simply powered off and reset (powered back on). Also, my wife is on her second Motorola V220 (also software problems on both).
Knowing what I know now (from 4 different RAZR phones), I wouldn't buy one. I actually don't expect to buy another Motorola cell phone until they can get their act together and release *quality* software for their phones. I haven't heard of people having so much problems with their phones. It's also unfortunate that we have to send our phones in for replacement when all we need is newer software on them.
That's my $0.02...

motorola v3, it is one of the best phones motorola has came out with and the features are awesome, not to mention, their signal is great
