I have a pair of five inch stilettos that I have to wear with a nice outfit this weekend. What are some good exercises I can do so I can wear my heelslonger than 20 minutes without pain?

I have to go somewhere with my husband and he is 6'4 while I am only 5'1". See the dilemma?

Wearing heels is not very good for your feet. My mom used to wear stillettos all the time when she was young and now her feet ache everyday and has to see a foot doctor often and has to wear inserts in her shoes.

I don't recommend wearing stillettos all the time. Just for special occasions. Besides, I think your husband probably married you for your personality. Who cares if you're about 14" shorter than him.

Why do you have to wear 5" stilettos? Can you wear a lower heel? Also try a thucker heel. My wife if 5'1" tall. She doesn't wear stilettos anymore. She opts for a dressy sandal or platform (both around 3") for more support and less pain.

Wear the stilettos a lot more around the house or somewhere so you could get used to the shoes this week. Its going to hurt but at least you'll get used to them.

I don't know if there is anything you can do before this weekend, but in the future walk around in your heels when you are not going anywhere, then your legs and feet will build up a tolerance for them.

If i wear you I would start to wear these heels your gonna wear ASAP and start getting used to them, standing in them walking in them or maybe go to 4 1/2" heels.

It seems kind of late to start working on this now . . . for this weekend? Just wear them around for as long as you can, eventually you'll be able to wear them for longer and longer.

walk up your stairs in the shoes. walk down your stairs in the shoes. continue continue continue. i know, its brutal. but practicing is the best way. you could also do like calf raises. stand up straight, feet together, and stand up on your toes. try to do it a long time.

OK U CAN PUT THEM ON AND U CAN WALK AROUND YOUR HOUSE ALL THE TIME SO YOU CAN GET USE TO THE FEELING TO WALKING IN THEM OR YOU COULD BUY SOME OTHER SHOES LOWER THAN 5".

just walk around in them for about 20min. mabey jump in them to get a little more stabel in them
