It's all in the field you choose. I didn't complete my degree plan in engineering, but I make more than they do. I'm a 3d Cad designer. I make 143k per yr. You can look it up. If I were to complete my degree plan, when I graduate, I would make only 56k per yr. I design offshore chemical plants using 3d Design systems. So choose wisely. I started out doing Autocad.

The more education you get the better the jobs are you can get. You have an associates degree so that will help out in the job market. Now, is it a transfer degree? If it is that is better yet as you have more general ed which means you have a wider world view. This is what employers are looking for, those who can see the world clearly and function well in it. It often doesn't matter what the degree is in (unless it in nursing or some other hands on like that) as the general ed is what evens out all degrees. While some may have taken different electives, there is a lot of general ed that is mandatory.
Here is the down side: About ten years ago, the jobs that you could get with an associates now require a bachelors. That what took a bachelors, now takes a masters. Things changed, as all things in life change. However, you will still be eligable for better jobs than somebody with just a highshool degree. So, if it is a transfer A.S or A.A get back in school and finish up your B.A. or B.S. degree if you want a higher job. Or, get to work and continue to attend school part time while you work on getting that B.A. degree. It is in the best interests of your future to do so. That is what I did. I am now working on my masters. If it is not a tranfer degree go and change it by taking the extra classes needed for a transfer degree and then transfer. The higher your education the better paying jobs you will be able to get and the more options on what those jobs will be. Good luck to you and your future.

regrettably, with an friends degree, your job options are fairly constrained. even if, this does not advise that you could not bypass out. There are some techniques of searching at your difficulty. you may want to both a)get a job and help your mom pay the costs, or b)get a job and bypass out. residing on your own, really when you're nonetheless in college, would nicely be very intense priced. even if, you could reduce those prices down significantly through having one or 2 room associates that you should chop up the lease and charges. the position I stay, in case you stay by myself, your lease and application costs often run $seven-hundred-$one thousand in conserving with month. even if, having a room mate or 2 can reduce that right down to less than $500 a month.
