The "best lesson" I ever learned while growing up (I am 50 year of age now), was when I became a Christian when I was 19 years of age..(1975)...I grew up in the 60's and 70's when everyone did drugs; and you were on the minority or weird side if you DIDN'T use drugs of some kind. I was suicidal when 19 years of age, but turned my life around when asking Christ into my life and save me...and to my utter surprise...He actually DID. I saw for the first time in my life, the color of the blue sky above me...the first time I breathed and smelled the colors of the trees and of the air...and my heart was no longer sad nor suicidal...but completely turned around and filled with great joy, and such joy that only Christ can give...and no other. This is a true story that took place in my life...and the greatest LESSON I ever learned.

If you have to second guess yourself "should I really do this?" you probably shouldn't?
If mom doesn't approve...it's for a reason.
Your parents really do say no sometimes because it's for your own good.
Don't pick on people who are different from you.
If you have 2, give one to someone who needs it.

Don't put anything down on paper you wouldn't want printed in the newspaper. (I guess we could update that to "email".)
And a corollary: "Somebody always finds out."

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" Wisdom is greater and carries more honor than wealth and fame.
