I make a part-time living selling on eBay. There are definitely some categories that sell much hotter than others. Depends what you are looking to sell. Do searches on eBay for items similar to the ones you want to sell, but look at the "Ended Auctions" (there is an option for it within the search). This will allow you to see how popular the items have been and their average selling prices. There are also tutorials on the site that will give you tips on how to set up an auction, including starting price, reserves, layout and more, that will help you be more successful. Just be careful in allowing cash payments for your items. Paypal is the safest way to pay, and it's instant. With it, you will also have Seller Protection.

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection . Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. Depends on what your selling. and its a good practice to wait until its a free listing day so that you dont need to pay a listing fee too. Have a look at paypal.com Many people prefer to pay this method and you get cash into an online account which you can transfer to your own account too. Good luck and happy selling.
