Yes it is. You can go to yahoo health and get all the information you need. And your doctor can tell pretty much everything that is going on. Safest bet is to go to the doctor asap.

Unfortunately anything can go wrong at ANY time of a pregnancy if you feel there is something like this happening tell your doctor you want to have another ultrasound to check for this....even if you cannot see it it may be there but there will only be minor complications during labor ,the docotrs will be more careful but will succeed in removing the cord without hurting the baby.

Yes, it's possible and the doctor can tell by ultrasound. This happened to me in my pregnancy and the doctor sent me to an ultrasound specialist and we came to find out that it either moved on it's own or it was never there in the first place. It is a very scary thing. I hope nothing but the best for you and good luck!! Make sure you check with your doctor.

They can see all of that, and if something is wrong, they can fix it, or make you give birth now. At six months, your baby will survive.
My daughter was born with the cord around her neck and was blue. They had her breathing very quickly, and all was good. Try not to focus on bad, you shouldn't be stressing out right now. Relax, and let the doctor worry about these issues, that is what they are trained for.
Take care, and good luck.

yes, its possible, if the baby somehow gets twisted around and the cord wraps around his/her throat and you are at home or somewhere else, you wont know, but thats why drs tell you to monitor your babys movements, if you haven't felt him/her move in over an hour i think it is, then you might have to call your dr and if they fell there's a need they can do a sonogram to see whats going on...I havent heard of it happening very often though, but every pregnancy is scary, there are numerous things that could go wrong, you jst have to have faith that you will be blessed with a healthy baby, but don't worry yourself, stress is bad for you and the baby! :)

I dont think it's possible at this point, but yes the doctor would be able to tell with an ultrasound, and right away they can check the heartbeat to determine the baby's state.

Yes it is very possible. I think the only way a doctor can tell is by an ultrasound. I hope this isn't happening to you. How sad.

Yes, it is possible. Don't know if the doctor can check that though. Probably through an ultrasound.

I hope you are not super concerned about this. If your baby has stopped moving, you feel that maternal "somethings funny", call your doctor. OB-GYN's are used to strange questions - although they not strange to the Momma! If you are SUPER worried, ask them to check it out, that way if it not harming your baby, but could become an issue during the birth, they are ready for it.
