There will be less stuff "spoon fed" to you and they will expect you to show responsibility and dedication.
If you refuse to do your homework and just hate to study and wont do research on your own... then your screwed!

Is 10th Grade Hard

I think that is actually a very complicated question!

It really depends on the person.

If you have done well in grade 9 and you have good study habits you probably should not have too much trouble.

Sometimes though some subjects can throw you a curve ball. When I was in Grade 10 we all took Geometry as our Math subject. I did really well in algebra but Geometry was harder for me. I think some people just have trouble with spacial representations etc. I did okay but it was harder for me than other kinds of math. Some schools now teach a little bit of everything in each grade. So you get a bit of Algebra a bit of Geometry a bit of Trigonometry and a bit of Calculus in each grade. When I was in high school Grade 9 was algebra, Grade 10 was geometry, grade 11 was trigonometry, grade 12 was calculus.

Also...there are alot of social pressures to deal with...boys etc. So how you handle all of that will of course determine how well you do with your studies.

Do your best and have some fun along the way.

Good Luck! (Make some of that luck yourself by actually studying!)

:)

10th grade really is no different than 9th grade, just your studies will require a little more concentration because it will be a bit harder. I am sure you will do just fine. just do not be afraid to ask questions and ask for help if you need it. that is what the teachers are there for. best of luck!!

it depends on what you think is hard. I found 11th grade to be the most challenging when I was in high school. But you just have to meet those challenges. Just do your work, listen in class and keep trying. 9th graders get a little slack if i remember correctly, because you are new. But the buck stops there. Work hard and things will be easier from there.

The thing is that 10th grade is important, the second most important year of your education, because 11th grade is the grade which counts most for colleges. So you're getting ready for it. You have to do well.

I graduated high school already and 10th grade was a blast. It's not hard, unless you don't pay attention and not do you homework.

Hard or not depends on you! You will get out of it...... exactly what you put into it. You should look forward to the challange and enjoy doing your best. School can be tough if you dont do what you need to ...to be prepared. Look at it like its your next step toward your education and you need to learn something for the 11th grade....You'll do fine!

There are so many variables here. Are you going to a public or private school? All girls, all boys, or co-ed. Are your teachers strict? Do thet like you? Do you like them? Do you like the subject they are teaching? Are you studious or distracting? Do you pay attention or slackoff? How big are the classes?

That's just academically.

Are you new? Do you know anyone there? Do you fit in/ standout? Are you socially-challenged? Are you aggressively outgoing? etc.

I'd say more but my hand is beginning to hurt.

I mean no offense but there too many variables to give you a good answer.
