Not all drive thru's do. Check next time you go. Often it is because they use the same machine (or keypad) in the drivethru that they use inside the bank. It is just easier for the manufacturer to make the keypads all the same instead of having to change the production process for the drive thru atms.

especially because of the fact this is much less complicated and greater fee-effective to easily have one type of buttons on the front panel, particularly than having to maintain music of separate aspects for tension-up and walk-up ATMs. as properly, there may be a blind passenger interior the back seat. ultimately, human beings to often times walk as much as a tension-up ATM. if this is the only ATM interior of sight, and this is not obtainable to blind human beings, the financial corporation might desire to be sued decrease than the individuals with Disabilities Act. playstation : this is Braille, not brail.

I'm guessing that it's for 2 reasons.
1- the law requires braille on all ATM's regardless of where they are
2- Drive up ATM's are the same as walk up ATM's, consequently both models get the braille

I get your point here Dennis --but blind customers do make their way to almost every single place that you or I can go---blind people do not have to drive to reach a drive - thru they can be driven by someone or many of them can negotiate quite well to places that you would never think they could--on their own---as a matter of fact --blind individuals excel in many things and put sighted people to literal shame on alot of occasions and in many areas of life

All ATM's have Braille on them. Special models without Braille are not manufactures just for drive-thru's.
