Do you think the US policy in the middle east and it's involvement with Isreal cause more problems to our interest and secruity on our own soil than what it's worth?

If Ronald Reagan taught us anything, it is that you can't back down from a bully. At the height of the scourge of Communism, when the Russians looked like an unbeatable enemy, inexorably gobbling up country after country from Central American to Africa, he defiantly challenged the Soviet Union. He withdrew from peace negotiations in Reykjavík, Iceland even though few agreed with him. He refused to give the Soviets breathing room in the arms race. He exhausted the enemy, and they collapsed.

Now we are facing the same problem with Islama fascism.

Liberals have this crazy idea that the terrorists will learn to love us if we leave. Obviously, they don't use a calendar, because 9-11 happened BEFORE we invaded Iraq. Terrorists don't need a reason to create mayhem. They just need an excuse, and the fact that we are infidels is all the excuse they ever need.

Ronald Reagan once said, "they say if we'll only avoid any direct confrontation with the enemy, he'll forget his evil ways and learn to love us." Reagan knew that the Soviet Union was like a big, hungry bear, and that by feeding it, he would only encourage the bear to get stronger and dominate the world to an even greater degree.

You can't back down from terrorists. They will not learn to love us. When Israel made huge concessions to the Palestinians, the terrorists weren't grateful. The terrorists just saw this as a sign of weakness. They said, "we're winning.... let's keep pummelling Israel and we'll get more".

Liberals just don't understand. They live in a fantasy world.

I have written two articles on US-Middle East relations, as referenced below. But simply put, I do think that we are sticking our hands into a hornet's nest over and over again. It is difficult for America and other Western allies not to get involved, considering how involved we have been in the Middle East in the 20th century. But it seems to me that the best course for Middle Eastern countries is to figure it out on their own...America did that after throwing off the British Empire and other nations have done it successfully.

That smart little united states that carved a democracy out of the wasteland is seen by using the Arab international and really an excellent style of the West because the reason behind terrorism on account that Arabs are indignant over fifty 5 years of Israeli career of the Palestinian Territory doesn't you be if the Arabs occupied 0.5 of your united states. you may want to hitch all those smart Israelis who favor a 2 state answer with israel out of the occupied lands. in case you gave all of us of the 330,000 settlers 0.5 a million to bypass it will be a good purchase for the west to fund compared to the bi lions spent on anti terrorism. money down the drain. the U. S. contributes 3 billion to Israel in line with annum with the aid of wealthy Jewish foyer interior the U. S.. of direction the Arabs might want to face the actuality that Israel exists.

No, Islam is the real problem, they wanna conquer the World and they did take Spain and portions of Eastern Europe for a time, plus they believe every land that was conquered into Islam must be returned to Islam.

Many consider the presence of Christians and Jews in Iraq an offense. Many Moslems hate Isreal and it's allies (US). We will never really know until after we are gone.
