If after a few minutes you still aren't getting any heat, then your thermostat is likely stuck in the open position. The only way to fix this is to replace the thermostat. Be sure to get a new gasket as well...most thermostats should come with a new one. If you are doing it yourself, take note of which end of the thermostat is facing towards the engine, and be sure to install the new one the same way. Also, don't overtighten the bolts when reinstalling...you can crack the housing.

First check the radiator to be sure it is full. This happened to me once, where all of a sudden I lost my heat, and that was the problem.
Then check the thermostat.
Always do the cheapest easiest things first when working on a car.

You probably still have your winter air in your tires and the winter oil in the engine. Stop down to the gas station and ask them to swap out your winter air and winter oil. That should solve the problem.

it take time if it from a cold start the motor needs to warm up first, than the heater would work. try it midday if it works when you need to wait your oil need to lube the motor .
