Probably not, the waters are very noticeable. Often they will come gushing out. Have you lost your mucous plug? It's likely this could be it - check for blood, this is a good sign it could be your mucous plug. This would mean the beginning of labor - though by saying beginning I mean - - some lose their mucous plug at the same time labor starts, after contractions have already started or - (sorry!) - a week before contractions start. It's a sign you're on the right track. Or it could just be cervical mucous. I got a lot of that especially towards the end of my pregnancy.

Probably not.

Many women experience an increase in vaginal wetness, especially in the later stages of pregnancy.

Most women experience their water breaking as a RUSH of liquid. Many think they've peed their pants.

If the baby or placenta is bearing down on the entrance to the cervix, you COULD experience the water-breaking as a trickle, but it's very doubtful.

So my advice is go get some extra panty-liners nad be prepared to be squishier than normal for the next week or so.

I don't think so. I think your cervix is thinning out. (the process that takes place right before labor) I had that two days and on the third day I had a baby. If you are 39 weeks then and it is the worst and your water is leaking your baby will still be fine...its time for the baby to come out anyway. Let us know how big the baby is.
