Well, depending on where you live... I know my sisters (4 of them) when they were around your age, always had the best time when they would get their good friends together (4-6 people), and go to a water-park or theme park, and just spend the whole day there.
Go out for dinner with everyone after that and celebrate your birthday, etc. The most important thing is just to have fun though.

well in my opinion i would ask for ipod nano a laptop. for a birthday i would do kinda a Hawaiian scene and for cake i would do chocolate and i would have different ice cream flavors. oh and your friends should come over and family should be there and have a great time. and i wish you a happy birthday in 2 days oh and dont forget slumber party

have a patry, eat cake and ice cream, have friends come over, have family come over or maybe go out to the mall and ask your mom or dad for money and buy something or go to the pool with friends or just enjoy your self

I travel on my birthdays. The best way to celebrate is to experience something new. Go sky diving. Ride a dunebuggy through the desert. Experience something different. You'll never forget what you did for your birthday if you do something for the first time every birthday.

have a slumber party with some friends stay up late watching movies playing hilarious truth or dare and giving eachother makeovers, or have a pool party at the local public pool

Hide out in the mall around closing time spend the night with a few friends there. it is wicked awesome.

take a video of yourself and say how the previous year has meant to you, and then say what you expect from yourself in the next year... then watch it on your birthday next year
