Be up front with him face to face and tell him how you feel.

He's already serving his punishment in jail and I feel a letter or divorce papers served to him is not playing the better person.

Talk to him and express how you feel and tell him that you want a divorce.

He knows his limits.........where hes at.

do what Eva did on Desperate Housewives. go down there and tell him face to face. of course with glass between you two. he cant hurt you that way and cant touch you. then you have time to pack and get out of town befor he gets out of jail.
ooorrr you could go down there and tell him you are thinking of leaving but want to work things out. tell him to change and becom a man and stop going to jail for stupid things.

Send a letter? That's probably the safest way to end a marriage anyway...

Block collect calls from your phone and don't answer his letters. He doesn't deserve a wife if he didn't care enough about her to stay out of jail.

You owe him nothing.

thats a low blow, why cant you wait till he gets out, there is nothing he can do in there and you will only make time harder for him.i think you should tell him when he gets out and do it slowly if you choose to do it at all.good luck.
