You should always leave a note and hope that the person you hit doesn't use the opportunity to accuse you of more damage. If you have a digital camera in your car....take a picture. But, if you just bump a car and there is absolutely no physical damage..I wouldn't worry about it. (damage to their car that is). But ant obvious damage leave a note and info.

It's actually very serious... almost considered hit and run. What most ppl don't realize that when 2 cars collide in a parking lot, there are not rules of the road that govern parking lots; therefore, all a person has to say is, "it was his fault." And the other guy says, "no it was his fault". = no one at fault because of no parking lot state laws.

I dont think that you should have left. Even though you are insured I am sure that you could have talked to who evers car you hit. I did the same thing once and the person was grateful that I told them that they let me work out payments directly to them. Even though it may be minor to you it may be a big deal to the other person.

You should have left a number. That's what I did when that happened to me. The other person appreciated my honesty and I didn't have to pay for it. I would go back and leave a little note with your phone number on it. Sometimes the parking lots have cameras. I think it would be best for you to tell on yourself instead of someone else.

Its bad think about what could happen to you or if something that belongs to you of worth is damaged.Your guilt is no measure to the other parties grief. And it doesn't matter if someone saw you, you saw you and God saw you and now your conscience is speaking. If you didn't want them to know leave money or something with a note on their car. When you do wrong it is your conscience that bares witness even when you are alone, asking someone whether its bad or not doesn't rectify the situation b/c people can't help you when it comes to reaping what you sow.

That is called guilt. I would've left a note with my phone and name no matter how minor the damage. It isn't fair to the other person to be left wondering with what happened.

i'd certainly leave my call & telephone style if I accidently suddenly met a vehicle & led to damage, in any vehicle parking zone or everywhere. i'm an trustworthy individual & my father and mom raised me to be trustworthy. speaking of honesty, I went o an section food market the day earlier on the on the spot, & even as there, i purchased a e book of stamps, utilising my debit card. I hit "none" even as the cardboard gadget asks if i needed money back. because the cashier surpassed me the stamps, she also surpassed me money, that become the precise quantity I in simple terms placed on my card to pay for the stamps. As she surpassed me my receipt, & the money, I on the on the spot advised her that i didn't wish money back. She laughed & stated she were given sidetracked listening to 2 of her co workers huddled interior the nook, speaking. I gave back the money & advised her that i'm an trustworthy individual, & fortunate for her that i become, because there are some who would have taken the money & scooted out of the save. She in simple terms stood there & not in any respect stated thanks or something. did not she comprehend that she would have ended up having to make up for the inability in her drawer on the full of her shift out of her own pocket? I did the right element & gave the money back, yet she would have thanked me.

If you're a truck driver, it's a felony. A felony will put you in prison for at least one year. It doesn't matter if you hit the other car in your personal car or in a truck. Having a truck-driving license changes alot of things about driving.

It's called "hit and run" and you could be prosecuted. I practice, though, the police don't have any time for this sort of crime.

Shame on you.
You still have a chance to make it right.
Perhaps the actual repairs will be less than reporting it.
