No because if the country was home to just smart people Bush wouldn't live there because he's too stupid to even run OUR country!

The U.S. is home to more than 298 million persons from almost every walk of life imaginable, including followers of every religion and philosophical movement there is, and including immigrants from every country in the world. To say the U.S. has no smart people is silly and an insult to more than just one nation.

This is less of a question than a fill-in-the-blank political comment about Bush administration policies. Chances are, most Americans agree with you. According to a recent Time magazine poll, Pres. Bush's approval rating slipped to 35% at the end of June. 64 per cent of those polled said they disapproved of his handling of the campaign in Iraq.

No, that's precisely why I worry now - because not only is our president dumb, most of the country is dumb, lacks the ability to reason logically, and believes anything they hear from their pastor/ other religious authority. And they believe anything the president says as long as he ends it by saying something about god, jesus, etc. If we had a bunch of smart people in this country 1. He wouldn't have been elected, 2. If somehow he was elected, he'd have been impeached by now because smart people would not be having this crap.

Its a trick question like asking what side of a roof a rooster's egg will come down. If GW ran a country full of smart people, then they wouldn't be too smart to be ruled over by one person, instead of being smart enough to live together peacably, no would they?

America is the smartest country in the world. Other countries come here for education. If there was one portion of the country that don't use there heads, it would be the democrats. Liberals let emotion cloud there judgment in decision making.
