ive just taken my car for the mot it cost me £40 im glad it went through without a problem not bad for an "L reg". if the car fails and you take it away to fix it, it has to be back at the test station before the end of the next working day. After that its got to have a full mot test again at the full price

The test is not too costly but the mechanic who carries out the work so it will pass costs an arm and at least three legs.

I thought an MOT cost around £30... depends on where you go maybe.. again to fix it.... pick a number and treble it....!
