how can i edit mail in my sent folder?

i want to add some lines in my mail which is in sent folder and then want to sent how can i do this ,but date shud be same as previous

which email client are you using ?

open the mail in the sent folder & click on 'Reply' edit contents as you want & dont forget to change the email ID (where you want to send).
You can let the date remain the same at time of editting but remember that when you send, the receiver will get the new date automatically added by your email client, in the email head. Sorry, nothing can be done to changing the new sending date.
