I feel like gained nothing after spending so many precious hours, although I gained little knowledge....the return on time invested(ROTI) was meagre. What about you? shall I say good bye....

Sounds to me that you may be viewing this site as something other than what it is or perhaps expecting it to be something other? For all intents and purposes its a good site and one CAN learn if they wish to as well as get a better understanding of many things via others (globally) viewpoints. The issue of a "return" on the investment of your time.... that's a perception issue... yours.
Why are you here? What do you hope for/expect to get from it?

I have met a lot of interesting people and contacts here though. As well as a lot of complete idiots, but you know, I have the same problem everywhere.

It's a good place for practicing your writing skills. Judging from all the typos, misspellings, etc., you do need some practice.
