i am new in USA and i started wearing these american clothes(pants,jeans,tees) and i really dnt know what is in fashion.i am even not allowed to wear like without sleeves tees forget about strapless or spagetti straps.so help me out so that i can dress soberly.like tell me what shoes pants jeans shirts or tops are in fashion? plz

Pick up a couple of magazines and look at the pics: Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Lucky, People, etc. They'll be able to give you the current trends. Most importantly, be sure you like what you're wearing and that you feel comfortable.

Fashion today is very individual. People can get away with most anything- except those horrid 80s MC-Hammer pants :). I realized that you didn't mention your age, which is a big factor in fashion, and your body type. Nobody wants a 55 year old, 320 lb woman wearing an extra small top and short shorts!
If you are in your 20s, you might want to check out such stores as H&M. If there isn't an H&M in your area, you could look at American Eagle or Hollister for jeans, and Forever 21 for tops. All of these stores have the fun weekend "Party Girl" clothes as well as the casual, sophisticated clothes.

It's really not that hard. Most department stores like Kohl's, Target, Wal-Mart, Dillards, etc. have IN STYLE clothing for sale all the time. Just go look around and see what you like. If all else fails--- you can never go wrong with a great fitting pair of jeans-preferably with a flared or boot-cut bottom--some sexy heels and a nice fitting tee or other sexy fitted shirt. Lucky Brand jeans, Abercrombie & Fitch jeans, Duckhead jeans, JLo jeans and Levi's are some of my favorites.

Wear tight jeans, dark wash is best, Aeropostale got some cute tees with sleeves, and Baby Phat gots good clothes too.

when it comes to fashion, i'm the expert (lol) heres some of the stuff that is in style right now
pants - gauchos, faded jeans, camo pants, ripped jeans, cuffed capris, skinny jeans, peasant skirts,
tops - boleros, sweatshirts, camisoles and tank tops (you can cover your shoulders with a bolero), cropped jackets, graphic tee shirts,
shoes - wedge heels, flip flops, skating shoes (vans)
here is a list of stores that will have these things. you should be able to find them at your local mall
kohls
old navy
payless (shoes)
JC penny
they all have great prices and quality products! hope this helps!!!

Ye my parents don't let me wear sleeveless things either. I love Aeropostale cause they have good prices and usually some modest things. Alot of cute tops with sleeves. Horizontal stripes are totally in right now... though I think it's funny cause people say it makes you look fat. and tight jeans and jean mini-skirts. Just hang out at the mall and look at what most people are wearing. Find some good christian friends who know how to dress modestly and go shopping with them!

Be a leader not a follower and start your own trend! You will be unique in that way! Plus you won't have the same clothing as everyone else! I was afraid to wear something to school because it wasn't in style! As soon as i wore it it became a trend! I also got plenty of complements! Plus the US is behind on fashion so wear what you always wear! Soon people will be asking YOU whats in style!

first welcome to US. u can wear anything u are comfortable with ... no one really cares what u wear .. as long as u are comfortable .. jeans and simple tees never go out of fashion. if u really want to be fashionable .. try a cpri with a bright color top .. that is always cool........

nike shoes never really go out, maybe sweatshirts from cool stores you see a lot of welldressed people in, ask a new friend to help you. just make sure she doesnt dress like a freak. let me know if you need more help!!
