I love to play tennis but when it comes to backhand I stink. Its so weak and it never goes quite where I want it to. Does anyone have any tips to help me make it stronger?

Work on gripping the racquet as low on the handle as you can to really generate racquet head speed as you accelerate through the ball. Set up for the shot with knees bent and your weight on your back leg, shifting your weight from your back to front foot as you follow through. I also find it helps to practice taking low backhand shots first as they are easier to keep your weight down and balanced than higher shots.

practice hitting the ball very precisely. the problem with many people is they swing to hard at the ball and therefore dont hit the ball on a good part of the racket. that is most likely why you arent hitting it where you want to. also, possibly try a one-handed back hand. for those who arent backhand dominant, the one-hander can be used as a defense shot, and as a shot that can slow down the pace of the game. first try a one-hander with slice, then if your up to it, try for a more offensive shot that would include topsin(though this is a very difficult shot) good luck

When you are reddy to hit the back hand, step into the ball. That will gove it that little extra power that can win you a point.

this video explains it (don't worry, its only 1 minute and 40 seconds long)...

and practice...for precision, use targets on the court and try hitting the ball at different points and angles until you hit your target, experiment if you have to (just be careful not to mess with your fundamentals though)
have fun and good luck!!
