Yes, you would once again be in standard tuning. Why someone would want to do this is anyones guess. As far as I'm concerned Capos are only used by country 'artists' for show purposes only. Any real guitar player tunes to drop C and shakes the f***ing pillars of the Earth.

what is normal? It would be the same key, but why would you want to do that. A guitar is generally designed to be strung at a particular tension, if you loosen the strings, then use a capo, the guitar will no longer be intonated correctly. In other words, as you go up the fretboard, the notes will be increasingly out of tune. A guitar is impossible to be 'perfect', but you should understand the mechanics of intonation.

Yes it would. Sometimes on my acoustic (usually if I'm not playing with someone else) I tune all the strings down a step, and it gives it a really nice sound. It sounds kind of open and filling, I guess you could say. But anyway yeah it would.
