if it has a red tint...it's probably a urinary tract infection or you might be passing a kidney stone. The red tint is your blood mixed with the urine. It may turn black or dark if it has been sitting there for a while.
Make an appointment with your doctor or urologist. ASAP.
Infections will only get worse. Meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids and cranberry juice. Cranberry juice will raise the pH of your urine to make it harder for the bacteria infection to survive.

Is the sharp pain on your left side more toward the front of your body or more toward the back? And where is the pain in relation to your belly button? If it's near your belly button and more toward your back, you probably have a kidney infection and need to see the doctor. In the meantime, drink lots of water -- you'll have to go to the bathroom a lot, but it'll help flush you out and it may help the pain subside a bit.

I'm not sure what your question is, but if you're having pain when you urinate, you should go see a health professional so they can run some tests and treat you appropriately.
If you're just having a sharp pain in your left side that won't go away, you should seek medical care.

got to doctors............ NOT TO SCARE you.. but a family friends, mother went to the ER for what she thought was a urinary tract infection cause her urine was dark and she was hurting... she had cancer and died with in 6mos. She was PERFECTLY healthy. Urine has to do with kidneys... and Kidneys can have all kinda of problems........
You may just need to drink more water though........ however ....
PLEASE GO TO THE DOCTOR AND GET CHECKED OUT!
