Madness is subjective. What may be one man's cup of tea may be another's addiction or poison.
Life is said to be pain and pleasure.
Good and evil.
Light and dark.
Mania and depression.
It is a collection of your past experiences and those yet to come.
It's the fluttering of your heart in love and the crushing blow when it dies.
Life is living in boundaries, real and imagined; living within imaginary borders printed on a map or a globe.
Depression can be positive when you're no longer depressed; it serves as a reminder of how far you've come.
Life is sleeping and waking.
It's sometimes about struggling and fighting through your day.
It's peace and war.
It is fear and courage to face the day.
It's learning that life isn't always fair: The good seemingly always die young or finish last while criminals and offenders seem to live forever.
Intelligence isn't awared nearly as much as it should be: Hollywood stars, singers, and pop icons are held in higher esteem than Nobel Prize winners and those fighting to cure disease.
The world is about "the next best thing" and pushing forward rather than reflecting, learning, and holding onto quality.
Knock down the old buildings and start anew.
It's disposable, mutatable.
It's no-holds-barred and every man for himself. It's a sinking ship with a few helpful hands in a sea of undefined certainty.
Life is about perception. Life is also about being flexible and having the ability to shift perception.

Everyone has their own questions. It is not strange to ask what we do not know.
Life is only as painful as you make your life to be. If you have a negative out look on everything then your life will be nothing but pain. Even in the worst situations there can be joy in life. I had a friend who once she was 12 she was raped by her brothers best friend. She could have looked on life as "Life is full of pain" but she didn't. She is now married to a wonderful guy, and she is also a councler for the girls who are raped and have problems. She has taken that horible thing that happened to her and made it so she can help other people that are going through it easier for them. She told me once that if she didn't have that happen to her she would never been able to help the girls that she has helped now.
Depression is not just being sad for a few days, or not wanting to get up, it's the contunuial saddness (for more than a few weeks) and not snapping back into your normal self. A lot of people don't like to get up out of their beds in the morning, but this doesn't mean that they have depression. True, not wanting to get up in the morning is a sign of depression, but because you don't want to get up in the morning does not exactly mean you have depression. If you think that you have depression you may need to get expert help from a doctor. Depression is not a positive thing to be going through.
There is hope for the hopeless. If you are a religious person God brought back hope to the hopeless, but if you are not, there is still hope for sure. Go and do something that you enjoy doing, with someone you enjoy being around. Talk to them about things, a good descussion if worth more than gold. If you do not want to talk to anyone, go into a private place and again if you are religious person ask God for help to know, and if not, then think about the things, a good long think is priceless.
Good luck, If you think you are depressed expert help is needed, and they can help.

No. You are not crazy. Absolutely not. If you are depressed or suffer anxiety or uncontrollable circular thoughts you need to go to a doctor. But only if it is ruining your life and getting in the way of doing what you need to do. If you feel lousy all the time, if you are sad and hopeless and feel like life is meaning less than you need to get a doctor to prescribe you medication that will get you out of what is called a "deep depression".
But it depends on your age and what is going on in your life.
At any rate, you do not need to suffer. If you feel bad all the time and very hopeless and you are over 18, you can get medication like Effexor, Prozac, Cylexa et cetera
Go to a doctor and explain the problem.
Do you work or go to school? Do you have things to do? Are you exercising and eating and sleeping well? \
Do you drink too much or take dope?
It matters. If we want to answer the question it matters.
But you are absolutely sane and normal. MANY PEOPLE FEEL THIS WAY AT ONE TIME IN THEIR LIFE OR MORE.
It is like a illness in the body, you just have to take care of it. Sometime low seratoninm GABA, norpenephrine in the brain is the reason but also waht you are doing in your life and what is happening in your life.
It is never just the mind. You know if you hate your job or are always alone or someone died that is close to you ... Life is hard dude. For everyone.
Screw depression, just get an apointment with a doctor. And maybe some CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy).
Don't feel ashamed or think your crazy. You have your sense of reasoning and logic in tact.
YOU WILL BE WELL. Get help.

No, but you do seem to need a lot of questions and anxieties answered. I'd work on finding the answers. As another person said, if you can ask if you're crazy then more than likely you are not. So you are not crazy in the traditional sense, but you definitely have some issues going on.

If you were crazy hun, you wouldn't know it! I think that you are just a deep thinking person, and you need someone to share your love with. I think that there is hope for the hopeless because for every person there is at least one person who loves and believes in them. Therefore there is hope for the hopeless. I often think about a lot of things at once, like really deep seated questions about life, but I think that it just means that you are really insightful and a passionate person, so no I don't think that it makes you crazy [unless I am too, but then that makes two of us =) ]

I've gone crazy before - yup, diagnosed by a psychiatrist and everything. A 'manic episode', or 'episode of psychosis'. And trust me, you ain't crazy. If you were, and someone suggested you were crazy, you would be 10001% adamant that you aren't. Not even a hint of doubt would cross your mind for a nanosecond. You would think it a ridiculous suggestion.
Being crazy feels fantastic at the time. However, it's very confusing afterwards!
Good luck with everything, things will get better.

The crazy people are those who somehow don't ask themselves these questions. The point of life is to sort out as much chaos and confusion as possible in order to reach a state of relative comfort and ease which brings the greatest amount of pleasure possible to the greatest amount of people in the most positive way. Have fun.

I don't think you sound crazy. For a start you have insight. I think that it may be possible for love to transcend all of your problems. You have to find out first how to love you, second what you want to love second and third find something or someone that will love you as much as you love it or them equally. Plane sailing really. Essential oil of lavender on your pillow at night can sometimes help with sleep.
