It never ceases to amaze why someone would think that some chooses to be homosexual.
The only thing that I rationalize out of this is that some people that are truly bi put down there urges and choose to only pay attention to their straight urges. Also, some gay people completely deny themselves and live an unhappy straight life.
This is easier for a woman. All she has to do is lie back. But a guy must get an erection and be excited enough to climax with his partner.

I so agree! I was introduced into the gay society when I lived in the big city, and I really loved it!! Yep, whoever thought I would be a "f** hag"?! The one thing I learned from my friends (both gay and lesbian) is that the lifestyle is not easy. There were several times I felt endangered just by walking down the street with my friends. Its a hard fate. One thing though, someone said they should not flaunt it and I understand what you mean. However, I think that when everyday can be a day when someone can hurt you for who you are, you learn to live it up while you can - the people I knew did not waste time with hate and hostility towards their offenders (that is they did not allow negativity to stop them from living). I have never met such courageous and true people in all my life. I am blessed for all my friends, they have taught me to have "strength and endurance with a smile and in style". :) Bless them all. We should all learn a thing or two from them, but as much as I enjoyed hanging around, I would not choose it for nothing. Only ignorant people would even think its a choice.

first of all I am 100% againist hate crimes of all types. second I assume they choose to be gay not willing but subconciouosly. You do not go out and just say I am gay from now on. Yet your mind is tuned into that due to possible reasons have always felt like girls never found you attractive. Or maybe you have had many close male realtionships. That is the way I feel

Sometimes you just can't deny who you are and the hate and criticism won't stop me from choosing to be who I am and want to be. You can't SCARE a homosexual from being a homosexual

Diddly, you are a absolute moron
have you ever thought that because homosexuallity is frowned upon, we have to put ourselves out there to gauge whether to trust the person or not.... its ok for you guys to be straight because you dont have to prove yourselves to others. being a minority enables you to see things in a different light and not be quick to criticise others. some people (below) like to preach hate and guess what causes it??? some shitty bible written 10 million years ago that noone cares about! figure that out....

Why? with all the backlash do you have to act like you are so proud to be a queer. If you are queer just keep your mouth shut. I don't go around telling the world that I am a hetrosexual.

people who fear homosexuality, NEED to believe that it's a choice.
if it weren't a choice, then they may someday fall victim themselves- this way allows them a lifetime of denial.
i think logical, and reasonable people know the truth.

Because, short of saying that they are stupid, they just don't understand what it is like to be gay...and to have gone throught the 'coming out process' (even if only to yourself)....It certainly does make gay people stronger though.
