I am just looking for correlations between the amount of money a person has and other aspects of his/her life. For example, a rich person is believed to have less children (on average) than a poor person. I am looking for scientific evidence mostly, but opinions are also welcome. Thanks!

Rich live longer, are healthier, and are more intelligent. The live longer, because they are healthier, which is due to a variety of factors. Rich have access to better health care and better preventative care. Rich also typically have healthier habits. As a generalization, rich people became so because they had a skill set that is in demand. Often this skill set is greater intelligence. That is, however, far from saying there are no lower or middle class that are intelligent. Many intelligent people lack motivation necessary to succeed, or simply do not desire excess wealth.

First, the question of intelligence should probably be tossed out of the window. There is absolutely no way of reliably measuring intellect. Thus, some researchers prefer to use educational achievement data instead.

Second, you need to understand a very important principle of statistics: correlation does not mean causation. If we find a reliable positive correlation between, say, education and wealth, we must consider three equally likely explanations: (1) educated people tend to make more money, (2) wealthier people can afford more education, and (3) there is a factor that we did not include in our study (perhaps, the wealth of the person's parents?) that impacts both wealth and education.

Third, you need to define your question more precisely. Are you talking about rich and poor countries or about rich and poor within the same country?

it really depends on what type of poor people. for example, if it was in a dirty poor country , rich would have healthier habits, as a result live longer, and because of money for education, be more intelligent. however, this is not always the case. before the modern medicine age, natives were living up to their hundreds, or late nineties. because of no medicine, they have discovered the natural cures and remedies making them more healthy and thus making them live longer. they may also have the tendency to be more resourceful and might even make them more intelligent
