i would say that there is a good chance that becks will join the toonami..its actually possibly that he might even be there sooner than you expect..man u wont bring him back..arsenal and celski dont need him..liverpool might bid but he wont go there...so that leaves newcastle as the best option....i personally feel that he is past his best..but newcastle would definately benefit from his services

I don't believe many Geordies would want Beckham at Newcastle simply to take free kicks and corners and if lucky, score now and again from open play. He is more interested in how he looks and certainly won't bust a gut to get to the ball. At times, even at Man Utd, he didn't look as if he needed to shower after a game. (Furgie' knew when it was right to move him on) However, for the time being he is regarded as iconic figure and sales of shirts etc would increase Newcastle's income.
Maybe Beckham needs to get away from football for a while, so why not to sign for Chelsea.

Beckham stands more chance of buying Newcastle for a joke than playing for them.Newcastle wasted Shearer's best years, ruined Bobby Robsons reputation and destroyed any chance for players like Dyer,Jenas and Given to realise their potential. And as for Owen. You must pity the man for going to Newcastle solely to play enough games,go to the World cup then go back to Liverpool. Now he's broken down and stuck in the Hell of Toon.Destined evermore to challenge for the mighty Intertoto Cup.

If he does come back, somehow I have a feeling that Owen and he could make a great combination. Beckham with his delivery and Owen with his well timed runs. Hope this happens. Both are great players.

No offence to the people of Newcastle, but can you really see Victoria leaving Madrid to go to Newcastle?

Which ever team he decided to join - he'll be an asset - Newcastle, Arsenal - even Bolton - he's worth every bit of the transfer fee...
