I don't know how Smurfette came to be... she just like, showed up one day. I think Gargamel created her so he could lure the smurfs into indecent acts and spread disease among them.
Or maybe that was just one smurf village where only male smurfs lived, like monks closed off from the rest of smurf society. Smurfette was tired of all the guys in Smurfopolis and wanted some new blue, so she headed out to the all-male village to put her groove on.

In an episode of the cartoon Papa Smurf turned one of the boy smurfs into Smurfette. He never did it again and he never reversed the process, so there was only one Smurfette. She is like the queen bee. You can only have one queen per hive.

WEll..there were 2 girls I forget the other ones name..Smurfs aren't born they come by stork once a blue moon.
Also..smurfs were a form of nazism...Men were valued more, because,they could go off to war. The men were supossidly smarter,clever, and devious.

Actually, there are 2. But she's the "queen bee" of the smurfs. She likes d**k, so she won't have another female to take any of it from her, lol.

They were all male. Gargamel created Smurfette to drive the boys wild so he could capture them.
Later on there was a girl smurf named Sassette, I think.

smurfette was created by the bad guys and she was sent to spy on them remember? but papa smurf made a remedy i guess you would call it and now she's on the smurf side. but babette was also created to give smurfette company, so actually there's two.
