But, If you are asking if most women don't get around much when they are pregnant, the answer is different for everyone. Some pregnancies are harder than others. Some women are energetic during pregnancy, but most are very fatigued, especially in the beginning and end.

If you talking about making love, then no most couples are not idle. As long as the doctor says it is okay-then there is no reason not too. If she is comfortable and doesn't hurt that is, sex can bring on labor when it is time for the baby to come. If you mean something else-drugs-drinking- yes be idle-it could hurt the baby. Sex won't. They are lucky to have a good friend like you in their corner. Tell them to have fun!

If by "idle" you mean lazy, hell no. Women are tired during pregnancy. They have another life inside them. If by "idle" you mean intimate, some are and some aren't. I was completely turned off during pregnancy. Nothing feels good, you're tired, your body is stretching, you're nauseas, someone is kicking your bladder from the inside. But life goes on as normal for the man. And the less understanding he is, the less turned on she will be.

If I understood the question, no. Most women are not lazy or "idle" during pregnancy. Or were you asking about sex? Most doctors say sex into the third trimester is safe, some say as long as it can be done comfortably it is safe.
