If you're depressed about where you're at, a short visit to hell should give you a better sense of perspective on what and where you live. Which would make it a good place to visit (emphasis on "visit" more than "good"). But I'm not sure that it could ever qualify as a "nice" place to visit -- it's never a first choice place to go, you know?

Sorry to break the news that the only visit one can make to hell lasts for eternity (never ending). If you are looking to book a flight, you get there by chosing how you live. And finally, to answer your question; why would we liken dreadful things/situations to hell if it is a nice place to go and to be??

Wow, I don't think so! It's described as a lake of fire, with "weeping and gnashing of teeth." Those within it continue in a terrible state forever.
Here's a quick test to see if you'd go there: have you ever told a lie? Ever stolen something? Ever dishonored your parents? Ever used God's name in vain (blasphemy)? If you've said "yes" to these questions, then by your own admission, you're a lying, thieving, blasphemous person who has not honored your parents. That was just 4 of the 10 Commandments, and there are 6 we haven't looked at yet.
Will you be innocent or guilty on Judgment Day? Listen to your conscience- you know you will be guilty. God is a just Judge. However, He doesn't want to send you to Hell.
He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven by sending His Son to die. Jesus took your punishment upon Himself. You broke the Law and Jesus paid your fine. If you turn from your sin and trust in Him, God will grant you everlasting life, and your sins will be forgiven. Then Hell won't be a concern.

Cheap drinks, fast service. But you either need to be a member or go with someone that is.

There is no visiting hell. You either go there and stay or not go there at all.

There's a place in South Africa called Hotazel and it is just that, hot, dry and dusty and is great for passing through, but not stopping.
